Had a bright idea for the dashboard today. At the moment I have an aluminium dash blank with the cut outs for the instrument pods. First I'll stick the CF panel to the aluminium. Then, when all is dry, attempt to heat and turn over the lower edge of the CF portion of the dash to give a suitable radius.
If the radius cannot be achieved then the second choice is to cut the CF flush with the aluminium blank and attach the L section aluminium to the lower edge. This would give the required radius to stop the dash being a sharp edge.
The jury is out on the seats. If funds permit then I would go for a couple of the CF seats from Joao in Portugal. Second choice would be his seats in GRP.
