Completed the under-dash wiring today. All the cables are now tywrapped into their final positions and the result is relatively neat. There was a small mistake (by me) in that the opposite side repeater flashed to the other indicator. For some reason I'd transposed the colours for near and off side. The indicators also flash at a reasonable rate now that there are two lamps on each side. I hope that when the rear lights are wired in that the frequency does not slow down too much. The rear loom cabling is attached to the front with a multi connector for ease of wiring and understanding. Had a trial fit of the column shroud, it should be fairly easy to trim down.
I also fitted the rear light clusters. Took a lot of fiddling to get a good position and I think I'm in the ballpark for their final positions. The near side cluster needs to be slightly raised and the off side cluster slightly lowered. I have not yet attempted the wiring. Fog lamp wiring is going to be fairly simple. A positive feed from the rearward sidelights supply via the switch and back to the multi connector. Likewise with the brake fail circuit, a positive feed via the test switch and lamp. Bingo, that should be it.
