Revision of the jobs to-do list adds a couple more jobs and confusion over a couple of others. The clutch cable is the biggest bugbear as it needs to be more reliably attached at both ends. The engine end is not much different to as fitted on the bike, it just needs a little fettling to get it looking more robust. The pedal end is quite secure but because the cable is fixed in relation to the arc of travel of the pedal it bends the cable every time the clutch pedal is depressed. This is not very mechanically sympathetic to the cable and I do expect it not to last that long in its current incarnation. Long term (post MOT) I would like to replace the entire caboodle with an MNR one (although these are expensive for what they are). The fittings are the hardest things to get, there aren't any places that sell them :-(
RS catalogue seems to be the cheapest pace to get stainless washers for suspension spacers and the little M5*20 button headed screws. I haven't ordered yet as their delivery charges make it worth it for larger rather than smaller orders.
Comfort wise in the car, once driving I need gloves, motocross goggles and harness pads to make the experience that more tolerable :-)))
