Took a brief detour before picking up my daughter from school and started fettling the bonnet hole. An hours worth of dremelling and it's still not quite right but it's getting close. If I'm putting the edge trim on it'll need to be a little larger than it is at the moment anyway. Still, another day tomorrow to crack on with it, more pictures to come. Still waiting for the return of the V5 for the car, every day that it doesn't come means I am more and more uncertain that they will accept my made up combination for the VIN. Once that is confirmed, jb7 will be making a shiny brass VIN plate for me.
