Although this looks a bit of a mess, it is actually intended to be like that. This is the dash in a "test bed" mode. There's quite a few temporary connections that are simulating being connected to the rest of the car, nothing fancy mind, just returns to earth and 12V links.
The brake fail buzzer system works and having now used diodes, I only need one buzzer for indicators and brake fail. As I stupidly wasn't thinking about this obvious solution when I ordered three buzzers, I now have two spare :-/
Nearing the end of the dash wiring, I am just waiting on a project box (for the brake fail PCB) and a waterproof connector so that the steering wheel can be connected to the dash.
Also the wheels are away at the powdercoaters for their treatment and tyres have been ordered. It's all go! It's surprising what a little bit of sunshine can do for the motivation :-)
