And finally the scuttle is trial fitted back onto the car. It cannot be fixed back yet due to a lack of the black rivets. As I never intended to wrap the scuttle, I ended up not having enough to fix it back on. Hey ho!

All the hardware is removed and it is sanded, then cleaned with marine prep. 
I also removed the side ears that were originally to attach dzus fasteners that secured the bonnet. I have used external bonnet fasteners so the mounts were superfluous.
