The wideband controller needs a 12V power supply and a feed of RPM: 
It needs this 12V power as soon as the car is running as hot exhaust gasses can kill a unheated lambda probe and it needs the RPM feed as the datalogging will not make much sense otherwise. Given that I'm keeping carbs for now (remember KISS) then that should be all that's needed to keep a check on the fuelling.

I've added a fuse to the unit power supply feed as it was running without one (the original intention to run fused power from the back of the dash)

The RPM feed has been soldered in and the wiring tidied up to connect to a 4-way plug. The corresponding socket will be mounted on the back of the scuttle as there's no need to run any more wires from the dash.

That lot took 2 hours...
