The speedo issue was always going to be a bone of contention. It's using the original bike sensor fed through a ratio converter (yellowbox) and then supplying the pulses to the bike speedo. 

The problems are that:

• The speedo displays up to 190mph so a lot of the display is not used.
• The speedo never even worked in the donor car.

Thus, my plan is to replace the bike speedo with something else. I know I could just get a new set of aftermarket clocks (acewell or koso) but my major problem with this is that I like the ZX9 clocks and there is already "that" shaped hole cut in the dash. Time for some electronics! (This doesn't affect my KISS principle as it does not prevent roadworthiness of the car)
