Woo hoo!!
The lights work! All of them. At the same time. None of them interfere with anything else. They all work as per the switches. Needless to say it took a complete strip down of the wrapped loom to decipher the cable colour change. With this information written down I now know what goes to where and exactly what it does. The indicators worked as they always did, so they were left alone. The operation of the high beam flasher stalk was investigated next. I found the common terminals and those affected by the different switch postions. Referring back to the kawasaki wiring diagram I was able to connect this up. This left three wires loose. One to go to the headlight relay, one to power the sidelights and a common supply. In the end, the mechanism of the switch dictated another supply had to be spliced in (unlike the kawasaki switch). Once this was accomplished, a quick test and it all works. A very happy bunny :-) Now I've got to decide whether to continue working and possibly mess something else up or end on a high :-)))) A cup of coffee and I'll decide.
