Dribs and drabs of work have been done over the winter but it was more tidying the container than anything. As spring is here and the nights are much lighter, it's time to get things done.
I wanted to tidy up the steering column appearance without having a mass of plastic around it. To this end, I have cut a length of roll wrapped CF tube that just fits over the column. A small bolt secures it and doubles up as a P-clip mount for the curly cable.
I was also going to make a steering wheel centre trim out of CF but the agricultural steering boss I have at the moment doesn't make it easy. For the sake of KISS I just ended up buying the plastic one from Mountney.
