Booked in for my first track day ever. It was going to be at Kames in East Ayrshire.

Set off early and soon noticed it was quite difficult to change gear. It took a little while to notice that the engine revs weren't dropping off as fast as they used to when off the throttle.
Stopped in an M&S car park to diagnose the fault; easy! a broken throttle return spring. I carried a spare, and I was back on the road in 5mins.

About 10mins later, the offside front wingstay snapped :(

Yup, again.

Despite the new over-engineered wingstays, it had snapped at the rear support, exactly where the flat piece is welded into the tube. Guessing this must a weak point as we have been here before. Luckily, the CF wings have a little flex in them, so this time it didn't fly off up into the air.
Temporary fix was to wrap it up in masking tape and limp home with a slightly flappy front wing.
