The Volvo remains broken (it looks like an alternator now). If it isn't the alternator then I'll decide whether to scrap it or sell it on ebay with the problem detailed.
The Landrover still has it's MOT work to do. Made a start on it today and removed the rear shock absorbers. This was made difficult due to the top mount on the offside being rusted so much that just a little turning effort stripped the thread.[insert photo] A quick search reveals that the brackets are £14 each. Although only one has completely stripped, I ordered two as I was entirely happy with the rusty state of the other one.
The lambda sensor is just about impossible to remove. I'll give it another go before admitting defeat but it's a real tight fit (having been fitted in the exhaust manifold for 13 years!)
The to-do list on the Locost has been sorted and it seems that there is really little to do to get it fully running.
